Canada's ANSP; building its first digital air traffic facility in Kingston and widely reported as a Searidge co-owner.
NAV CANADA is Canada's privately run ANSP. It broke ground on Canada's first digital air traffic facility at Kingston, Ontario, a validation site for Digital Aerodrome Air Traffic Services built to host Kingston plus one remote airport, with completion due summer 2026, backed by a Transport Canada-approved trial for remote Aerodrome Advisory Services running since 2020. In 2024 it partnered with Kongsberg for remote air traffic services technology. It also runs Searidge camera augmentation as supplemental video at sites including Red Deer, London, Vancouver Harbour, Vancouver International, and Winnipeg, which is blind-spot coverage, not remote towers. NAV CANADA and NATS are widely reported as joint owners of Searidge Technologies, though that ownership was not re-verified against a primary source in this pass (unverified).
