Italy's ANSP; runs the first Italian remote digital tower at Brindisi and exports its Full Digital Tower model to Malaysia.
Overview
ENAV is Italy's air navigation service provider and Techno Sky is its engineering subsidiary. ENAV inaugurated Italy's first remote digital tower at Brindisi in June 2022, and its 2025 to 2029 plan converts the Brindisi and Padua ACCs into remote tower centres for 16 low-traffic airports, growing to 26 by 2033. Abroad, Techno Sky won the Remote Digital and Virtual Tower (RDVT) contract for Senai Airport, Johor Bahru, Malaysia, built on the ENAV Group's proprietary Full Digital Tower model with a dedicated training simulator, project start by end of 2025, with Leonardo as subcontractor.
