Overview
IFATCA is the worldwide federation representing more than fifty thousand air traffic controllers across 137 countries. Its goals are to promote safety, efficiency, and regularity in international air navigation and to protect the professional interests of controllers. IFATCA works at the regional and global level with ICAO, IATA, CANSO, EUROCONTROL, and others, and publishes policy positions on remote and digital towers from the controller's perspective. It represents the people who work the traffic, not the providers who run the service.
