Invercargill Airport

Invercargill Airport is a remote tower: cameras and sensors at the airport feed controllers who work somewhere else. Airways New Zealand awarded Frequentis a contract for a remotely operated digital tower at Invercargill; controllers would start at the airfield and later move to a hub, with operation expected by 2020.

Caveat. Contract awarded in 2019 with go-live expected in 2020. No go-live notice found.
