Hamad International Airport (hybrid virtual tower) is a hybrid digital tower: controllers keep the window view and add camera video, so it is not a remote tower. AIN, 1 December 2025: Hamad's virtual tower, built on Searidge's Chorus platform, 'has entered operational service' under a hybrid model adopted by the Qatar CAA; two positions are in the main tower and two in the backup and approach training centre.
