Alice Springs Airport (2012 remote tower trial)
Alice Springs Airport (2012 remote tower trial) is a remote tower: cameras and sensors at the airport feed controllers who work somewhere else. Saab's 1 June 2011 release says Airservices staff would control Alice Springs from Adelaide during the trial, with no change to existing ATC arrangements.
Caveat. A trial that ended without a service, not a decommissioned operating tower.
