Qaqortoq Airport (new, local digital tower)

Qaqortoq Airport (new, local digital tower) is a digital tower: sensor-based tower technology that is not a straight remote tower. Frequentis was awarded a contract (via the construction firm COMSA) for a Local Digital Tower at the new Qaqortoq airport; it describes a vision of centralised control from Nuuk.

Caveat. Plotted at Qaqortoq town; exact site approximate. Frequentis says similar systems are already in place at Nuuk and Ilulissat, but gives no dates, so those are not listed here.
